| The Hamilton Police Pipe Band is a highly-successful, world-class pipe and drum organization, with some 80 active members playing in three competition bands. Located in Hamilton, about 60 kms south of Toronto, the band is sponsored by the city's police service. However, the great majority of its members are juveniles and adult musicians with no direct involvement in law enforcement. The bands have strong, fast-growing youth programs that include many of the best young highland arts musicians in the region. We have competed and won internationally. The band also has a musician development program with the 78th Fraser Highlanders, one of the world's great Grade 1 pipe bands. The band embraces a positive, family-oriented atmosphere that has created many lifelong friendships. We welcome all enquiries, and are particularly interested in working with area youngsters interested in picking up the pipes or drums. | ![]() 2007-8 North American Champions, Grade 5 drums 2007 Canadian Pipe Band Champions, Grade 2 2006 North American Pipe Band Champions, Grade 3 2005 World Champions, Grade 3B drum corps 2005-2006 Canadian Pipe Band Champions, Grade 3 2004 North American Pipe Band Champions, Grade 4 2004 Canadian Pipe Band Champions, Grade 4 & 5 2003 Canadian Pipe Band Champions, Grade 4 |
